Poultry (originating in Minnesota)
except waterfowl and pigeons:
A) Identified by leg or wing band.
B) Negative pullorum-typhoid test within 90 days, or Record of origin from a flock tested negative within last 12 months.
C) Turkeys must be tested at a laboratory for typhimurium and mycoplasmas or have a statement of origin if less than 6 months old.

Meeting Notice: All exhibitors must attend barn meetings on Thursday, July 31st as follows:
4:30     Horse barn
6:30     Rabbit/poultry/sheep/swine
8:30     Beef, dairy, goat
Show: Saturday, Noon
* 4-H exhibits will be shown first and then open class exhibit’s animals.
All standard varieties, including geese, turkeys, ducks and guineas. A pen of chickens shall consist of one male and two females, either old or young. A pen of turkeys, geese, ducks, or guineas shall consist of one male and one female, either young or old. Not more than one pen each class.
Only six varieties of poultry, including turkeys, geese, ducks and guineas can be shown by one exhibitor. All chicken entries should be sent to secretary before the opening day of the Fair so cage space for birds can be arranged properly for judging. All poultry entries must be accompanied by a Pollorum-free certificate. All poultry must be free from infectious disease and parasites. Only one entry per lot per exhibitor.
