Apple Pie
Approximately 3 lbs Apples sliced thin - *my apples were frozen last fall
3/4 to 1 Cup Dried Cranberries
2Tbsp Flour
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Dash of salt
1 Tbsp Tapioca
1 Tbsp Butter
Pie Crust
2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Lard
1/2 Cup Buttermilk
2 Tbsp sugar
Mix by hand
Egg wash and sprinkle with sugar, Add Pie Filling
Bake at 400° for 50 Minutes

Apple Bars
Crust:
3 Cups Flour
1 Tsp Salt
1/2 Cup Oil
1/2 Cup Butter
Egg yolk plus enough water to make 2/3 Cup
Filling:
5 to 6 Medium Apples
1 Cup Sugar
1 Tsp Cinnamon
Roll out half of crust and line bottom of jelly roll pan. Crush a couple
hands full of corn flakes on crust - add apple filling then add top crust
Bake at 350° to 375° for 30 to 35 minutes until brown.
Glaze:
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
1 Tbsp Butter
1 Tsp Vanilla
4 to 5 Tbsp Milk

Mix and drizzle over bars.

Taffy Apple Pizza Dessert
Crust: Topping:
1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar 1-8 oz pkg Cream Cheese
1/2 Cup White Sugar 1/2 Cup packed Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Butter 1/4 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
(cream together with mixer) 1/2 Tsp Vanilla
Add: 1/2 Cup Canola Oil,1 Egg Spread on top of cooled cookie
1/2 Tsp Vanilla and beat again. crust and top with sliced Granny
Add: 2 Cups + 1 Tbsp Flour Smith Apples, drizzle with caramel
1/2 Tsp Salt, 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda ice cream topping and chopped
1/2 Tsp Cream of Tartar. nuts. (optional)
Mix all together and chill for 1 hour  
*You can also use prepared sugar  
cookie dough for the crust.  
Press dough into round baking stone  
Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes until  
light brown - let cool
